Morning, humps. Happy PayDayWednesday.Good morning, HumpingDave. For this week, today is payday because it's the last of my unemployment.
Speaking of paydays, when are yours now, Tony?
That would've been one of the first things I checked on. :DMorning, humps. Happy PayDayWednesday.Good morning, HumpingDave. For this week, today is payday because it's the last of my unemployment.

I know we get paid every other Friday but I'm not sure when that begins.
I don't think I'll be smoking in the car anymore. One thing is to smoke while the car is moving, and you put the a/c or heat on the floor. Then you keep open all the windows slightly so that the smoke goes right out. The other thing is sitting in bumper to bumper traffic eliminating air flow and the smoke just lingers. The car absolutely stinks today. It could also have something to do with the cigar not being a very good one.I can see that. Hard to do that without stinking up the joint when you can't have the windows all the way down.
Another confirmed case of COVID in the office. That's three. There's only 8 of us and one guy I haven't met yet because he's been out.Sounds like this office could use a bottle of sanitizer or something.
Either that or they REALLY get along well together. :o :-XAnother confirmed case of COVID in the office. That's three. There's only 8 of us and one guy I haven't met yet because he's been out.Sounds like this office could use a bottle of sanitizer or something.

So even when your office isn't having a mini epidemic, will you get to work from home some?Yes. I'm probably going to average working remotely two days each week.
Do they have Thursday key parties or something?Sanitizers are everywhere, the water cooler is touchless, the bathroom door is touchless. Mr. French was the great Sebastian Cabot, who was also the Narrator for the Disney Winnie the Pooh films, as well as the voice of Bagheera in "The Jungle Book." Today's Over/Under is 10Sixteen. There are some in there I happen to know that most wouldn't. Kathy Garver because she was a very early TV crush. Lou Adler and Steve Forbert are names that might be recognized, but most people, I guess, wouldn't know their faces, unless they take a serious interest in songwriting and producing.
I mean, how could you not have a crush on her back then?I'm waiting for you to admit to being a Swiftie.... ;D

I am not anyone's definition of a "Swifty." The term has nothing to do with music. I did, however, see Taylor Swift perform a solo acoustic set of her own songs before she was famous, and I was impressed. I have no use for what she's become, but she can write songs, and she can work an unfamiliar audience all by herself with an acoustic guitar, which I promise is very, very hard to do. So I respect that.I mean, how could you not have a crush on her back then?I'm waiting for you to admit to being a Swiftie.... ;D

...And trash Amy Lee as many musicians are want to do.
The first (and I guess only, so far) concert we took the kids to was an Evanescence/Lindsey Stirling concert. It was quite a show.I am not anyone's definition of a "Swifty." As for Amy Lee, I'm not a particular fan having never really listened to her music much. I should. But the woman can play, she can sing, and she can write, and there are a LOT of similarities in our respective musical backgrounds, circumstances, and experiences.
She turned it all into musical success, and I only managed to turn it into an avocation. Nevertheless, I have to have a decent amount of respect and sympathy.
Now that is a pairing I would never have thought of! :oThe first (and I guess only, so far) concert we took the kids to was an Evanescence/Lindsey Stirling concert. I admire here as both a musician and performer, which there aren't too many of. Would definitely go to a concert, but not pay the asking prices or put up with all the insanity. Playing piano, banjo and ukulele as well as guitar, writing and singing. All the hype now is nuts, but I guess she deserves to enjoy her time at the top.I am not anyone's definition of a "Swifty." They even played some songs together.
