Nikki Haley suspended her campaign. Strong speech challenging Trumpf, and definining what used to be a Republican.
And as for Trumpf, as usual, instead of reaching out to the Haley Republicans, instead of extending an olive branch, he basically said, you lost, now get in line with MAGA.
That's because he knows they will.
I don't know. Didn't go so well for them the last "red wave" election.
This is true. But I think they really dropped the ball shutting Haley out. I think if she goes through as the candidate, she mops the floor with Biden. But that's all I've got to say about that.
Last time, Biden wasn't on the ballot, and a whole lot of Republicans were effectively punishing Republican candidates for not being loyal to Trump. Whie I'd have liked to see Haley take the nomination, I think either Trump or Haley beats Biden in November.
The thought of another four years of Trump doesn't excite me. At the same time, I don't feel any less enthusiastic about throwing wrenches into politics now than I did four years ago or eight years ago.
