Ron DeSantis signed a 48-page elections bill that Republicans said would guard against fraud and vote harvesting; Democrats and voting rights advocates said it was an attempt to make it harder for some people to vote. In an election-year surprise, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms announced that she would not seek a second term. The Los Angeles Angels cut 41-year-old superstar Albert Pujols. (Pujols would finish the season with the Los Angeles Dodgers, before returning to the St. Louis Cardinals in 2022.)

Week has gone awfully fast for me. I spent half of yesterday thinking it was still Wednesday.

Too fast even. But I'm not getting enough accomplished. Today, I will have to face the music for much of what I wasn't able to deliver.

Speaking of which, how's the job search progressing?

Not great but I really haven't been dedicating enough time to it.

Well, between that, not getting your job tasks done and not bantering too much, what the hell have you been doing?

That is a very valid question. I better get my shit together.
All kidding aside, I am overwhelmed and feel like I have been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I should be dropping to the floor soon.
