- LATEST LOCAL FORECAST: Below tropical storm force wind
- Peak Wind Forecast: 30-50 mph with gusts to 55 mph
Please plan for hazardous wind of equivalent tropical storm force by removing any unfixed items from your yard and placing them inside a secured area such as a garage or shed. Unsecured lightweight objects may blown about and cause damage.
In addition, tree limbs may be blown over roadways causing hazardous driving conditions. We ask that motorist please use caution if traveling during this tropical storm watch and slow down to allow yourself ample time in the event you have to use evasive driving measures.
With the effects of Tropical Storm Eta, we may also experience a possible storm surge. Officials at the National Weather Service are estimating the potential for 1-4 feet above ground surges within surge prone areas for our county.
