What's up cigar enthusiasts?!  Join in this cigar talk with the rest of us and learn something along the way.  Be warned, you will catch hell if you post something everyone doesn't agree with.  And heaven forbid if you should make a grammatical error, you'll be berated with GFYs!  So don't have thin skin and welcome aboard!

Sunburn
-------------------------

A man was laying on his back and fell asleep on the beach under the
noon day sun. He suffered a severe sunburn to his legs. He was taken to the
hospital. His skin had turned a bright red and was very painful and had started
to blister. Anything that touched his legs caused agony. The doctor
prescribed continued intravenous feedings of water and electrolytes,
a mild sedative and Viagra.

Rather astounded, the nurse inquired, "What good will Viagra do him in
that condition?"

The doctor replied, "It will keep the sheets off of his legs."

To create Romeo y Julieta Media Noche, a naturally fermented San Andres Maduro wrapper is loaded with a rich blend of vintage Dominican long-fillers. This combination leads to a spicy, robust smoke that’s layered with toasty notes of coffee, nuts, black pepper, and honey. Delicious, brimming with flavor, and ridiculously well-made…but you wouldn't expect anything less from Romeo. The only surprise here is the price…boxes start at just $89.99.

Crafted with an oily, dark Pennsylvania Broadleaf maduro wrapper and a well-blended ensemble of Dominican long-fillers, H. Upmann Media Noche delivers a sweet, chewy profile filled with nuances of oak, leather, espresso, and a delicious smoky-sweet finish. Medium in body, but layered with flavor, this well-balanced blend is smooth and satisfying down to the last puff.

Montecristo Media Noche: a beautiful, dark cigar graced by a thick Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper – oozing with natural oils. Under the wrapper resides a well-aged mixture of hand-selected long-fillers from Nicaragua, Peru and Dominican Republic. This hearty combination delivers ample oomph but in a balanced, enjoyable manner. It delivers an intense bouquet of flavor throughout, including a cedary core complemented by hints of leather and toastiness. The aftertaste is both sweet and spicy, satisfying each part of the palate equally with a savory, full-bodied cigar experienc.

That should carry you over till the mail man arrives.  B&M's tend to be very pricy thus I avoid them as much as possible.

Not my idea.  They are closing Erlanger down.  Merging operations and shipping us all to Plano.....
Beautiful downtown Plano?  Used to be out there by itself.  Part of the DFW metroplex now.
not a bad area at all and also no state income taxes!

Yep.  That area is growing like crazy. It certainly has a lot of appeal for a great many reasons.  Weather and someplace the wife and I had contemplated long before becoming empty nesters.  Looking at Prosper, McKinney and Frisco as being in the equation.

Going though my parents stuff was hard for me to do.  I ran across a document with my fathers signature on it, and I hadn't seen his signature for 35 years. Just a little melancholy...

Know what you mean he died 11 years ago next month and just now doing it and now only because we plan to sell our house in the spring and got to get the mess cleared out.  Ran across his original pilots licence issued in 1943, kind of like your signature.  Learned that he, was, a pilot for Western Union for a short while in the 40's which he never mentioned.

Drive-by howdy, all.  GH's Azteca Fuerte and AJ's (?) Signature Collection were utterly forgettable.  Now on a much better Rosalones.  Perfect draw and burn with good output but not as much flavor or strength as Antano.  Still a Joya, though.  Have good one, everybody.

GR Special and coffee:
The GR Specials Black Label Gran Robusto is 6x54 and was blended by Guillermo Rico to remind himself of the the cigars that made in Cuba long ago. This blend combines Nicaraguan and Mexican filler tobaccos with a Honduran binder leaf. The wrapper is a Nicaraguan grown Corojo. The blend has a mellow wonderful taste with hints of almonds and cedar. It is a full bodied blend.medium bodied.

Not my favorite size but I don't mind big cigars at all so jumped right on that one.  Nica Libres require several months rest to be good though and I know you are not a fan of aging.
