@Dave: You're gonna have to spend $150 at cigar.com in order to get this Dupont lighter. Hopefully it will arrive before the big game.

Already have this Zippo...

Morning CB, Tony, and Dave.  Long chore list today, better get to it while it's "warm" out.  Hi 56 deg, but tomorrow only 41 and dropping into the twenties New Years Eve.

I like the Zippo but was it converted to butane?

Converted from what?  I thought all cigarette/cigar lighters used butane to begin with.

Yep, I guess you're right. But we were talking specifically about Zippos which use "light petroleum distillate or synthetic isoparaffinic hydrocarbon (commonly referred to as lighter fluid or naphtha)". And I believe that stuff will influence the flavor of the cigar.

You've got me questioning myself but I thought they made Zippo conversion kits for this purpose.

Good morning boys, what’s the going rate for Illusion Rothchilds these days? CI has boxes for $152 after code but still seems high?

Love the look of that "Zippo” style lighter collecting dust in your desk? Don’t care for that lighter fluid taste it gives your cigars? Then pick up JetLine’s Z-Torch Dual-Flame insert. This top-line lighter features a wind-resistant, double-flame torch that snaps into place inside that “zippo” style lighter. No you can have that look without that lighter fluid taste.

No, that's a solid price for box of 50.  Atlantic VIP is $180
