Post by: CigarBanter on March 19, 2015, 12:00:46 AM
Any cigar deals on the various internet sites that are worth talking about? Join in this discussion and perhaps learn something along the way.  Be warned, post on this site and you will catch hell from members and trolls alike.  Therefore, don't proceed if you have thin skin.  If you can accept all that, light a cigar, pour a drink and welcome aboard!

Oh God yes!  Flipping out over the picture taking schedule last night.  She is usually the steady minded easy going one but this has put her over the top for some reason.  Her sister will be here this afternoon and that will help her calm down I think, obviously I am not much help!

Husband and wife are sitting quietly in bed reading when the wife looks over at him and asks the question.

WIFE: "What would you do if I died? Would you get married again?

HUSBAND: "Definitely not!"

WIFE: "Why not? Don't you like being married?"

HUSBAND: "Of course I do."

WIFE: "Then why wouldn't you remarry?"

HUSBAND: "Okay, okay, I'd get married again."

WIFE: "You would?" (with a hurt look)

HUSBAND: (makes audible groan)

WIFE: "Would you live in our house?"

HUSBAND: "Sure, it's a great house."

WIFE: "Would you sleep with her in our bed?"

HUSBAND: "Where else would we sleep?"

WIFE: "Would you let her drive my car?"

HUSBAND: "Probably, it is almost new."

WIFE: "Would you replace my pictures with hers?"

HUSBAND: "That would seem like the proper thing to do"

WIFE: "Would you give her my jewelry?"

HUSBAND: "No, I'm sure she'd want her own."

WIFE: "Would you take her golfing with you?

HUSBAND: "Yes, those are always good times."

WIFE: "Would she use my clubs?

HUSBAND: "No, she's left-handed."

WIFE: -- silence --

HUSBAND: "SH*T."

Morning Dad, what was the problem Warden took it away from you?
I haven't had any computer problems with the Warden.  It's just the computer has been acting weird (Windows 7.)  On minute I can access the internet (wifi) find, then the next minute I can't get on. I close Explorer and restart it, and everything fine for a minute or two, then it started acting up. Some times when I click to open up a program, the screen goes black for about 5 seconds, then everything opens up correctly.  I can use my phone to get onto the wifi so it seems ok.  Windows failed to open yesterday and started a diagnostic to correct the problem... It's just very frustrating. ugh..!

I was thinking of a 60" tv that could be used as a computer monitor. Sit a computer next to the tv, and used a wireless keyboard and mouse.  Use the computers dvd to play movies, and learn to rip movies onto the hard drive.  I'm not sure how all that would work, but I bet it would.  I might try resetting this computer to an earlier reset point...?

Chit I don't even know what day it is and have not since Monday.  Impromptu Dinner with in-laws last night, family dinner at in-laws house tonight, rehearsal party Friday night, wedding Saturday night, brunch Sunday and Departure Monday.  Pissed the warden off before we even got here so all is taken care of there, maybe she will not talk to me for 1300 miles.  Hah, like I could be that lucky.

Oh yeah, meanwhile the warden rented the groom and his wedding party (less me) a nice 5 bedroom beach house in Pawley's Island where they are relaxing and drinking my beer while I deal with the warden.  Life is really all fuct up by design!

And they are smoking my cigars too!
What time do you have to go and give them complimentary hand-jobs?

I believe that should be the brides parents responsibilities. Dave can light the mood candles though... even though he should have got CI smoke eaters instead. Ha.

Morning, everyone. 56° and rain all afternoon. At least it's washing some of the pollen away.
Good morning Steve - 38 here with a high in the low 50s, finally a decent day ahead of us

Hey, Shaun. Only a 10° difference from the great white north to the land of cotton. Seems odd, but Al Gore did warn us all on the interwebs... right after he invented them, that is.  ;D
But you're not getting snow tomorrow.

guess i was a bit peeved that there weren't any Gurkhas I liked on the page.  like the Warlord, but not one the size of a small tree.  Smoked a Park Ave on the way in to work this morning.  Just for a weekly special for a large cigar outlet, seems a bit anemic.

I've only had the Warlord in the small tree size, (like 7 by 60) didn't realize it was available in other sizes.

Dean ditched his bros for the hos!
LOL, seems true, however, one of the very few accepted excuses for ditching the bros all the same!
Agreed, just hope he doesn't forget about us little guys!
Speak for yourself son.

thanks, i'll look them up over at JR.  I was told a while back that the Legends we have now are not the same blend as what I have in the humi because they ran out of the original tobacco.  i can't remember if i've had the "newer" blend yet or not.  or even if that's true.

yes, there is a newer legend, but is has a helper band with a 2001 date. that was the new blend, since some of the original tobacco was unavailable.  I prefer the original myself.  Every time I walk into a JR here in New jersey they have the original but at like $38 a five pack.

Some local stuff and Sculpin.  Also a Georgia brewed version of the beer camps they call it a Tackle Box, pretty good.  Sweetwater brewery, they brew a beer called a 420 that is really good.

@ Fish.  I went in a grocery store here and they easily had double the craft beer selection of all the stores in Austin combined.
Did you buy anything new?
Some local stuff and Sculpin.  Also a Georgia brewed version of the beer camps they call it a Tackle Box, pretty good.  Sweetwater brewery, they brew a beer called a 420 that is really good.
Ive seen the Sweetwater 420 in OBX, never tried it but will this year

I like it a lot and very popular around here.  Of course they don't have it in Austin?

Oh, didn't realize you'd made it to SC already!  Stayed in Surfside quite a few times.  definitly like MB and surrounding area!

Well done.  I'm home already.  We're about to start celebrating the Italian Father's Day.  I'll post a picture of my Zeppola when we get to dessert.

/// PLease ... Ohio State wins by 3 in OT over VCU ... Had a nice bowl of homemade chili and corn muffins with butter and honey ... Finally opened my growler of this high octane Scottish Ale = Wee Heavy ... it's been unopened since I got it a month ago ... was expecting to share it with others so I didn't want to open it, and start the process of it going flat ... It must have still been "working" all that time, it tasted like beer flavored vodka, the alcohol was so strong.  Woo hoo.  Planning to head out for a herf and more basketball watching ... think I need a nap first.
Happy St. Joseph's Day, Tony and all ... a true Son of David.

It was at a fairly new Piggly Wiggly in Myrtle Beach.  Some sort of demo store much nicer than a normal Pig.
