Bummed to have missed the end of the game last night, but it was past my bedtime. But wow, what a finish. Jets beat the Bills, Lions beat the Chiefs, what the hell is happening around here?
I feel bad for Rick but that was an exciting game and fine way to start the MNF season.
Well, three interceptions, a fumble and disjointed play the rest of the time usually ends in a loss even if you are the more talented team on paper.  (see also Clemson-Duke.... :-[ :-\)

Yeah, the only reason they were even in the game after all that was because they were playing the Jets of years past after 4 plays.

In 1913, Olympic legend Jesse Owens was born in Oakville, Alabama.

In 1914, during World War I, the First Battle of the Marne ended in an Allied victory against Germany.

In 1958, the U.S. Supreme Court, in Cooper v. Aaron, unanimously ruled that Arkansas officials who were resisting public school desegregation orders could not disregard the high court’s rulings.

In 1959, the Soviet Union launched its Luna 2 space probe, which made a crash landing on the moon. The TV Western series “Bonanza” premiered on NBC.

For Aaron Rogers, appears to be  a Achilles tendon injury, which would be season ending, probably career ending.
