It's Cinco de Mayo.  The warden already has Chile Verde on the menu.  But I think I'm going to try my hand at Mole Poblano. The family doesn't think they like Mole, but I think that's because they've only had it at restaurants norte de la linea.

Mole is not my favorite but I do like it. Admittedly, I'm not sure I've ever had it from a restaurant sud de la linea.

I don't know the whole story but I suppose you might say there are no circumstances where you deserve to be raped.

My hypothesis is that the mole you get in Mexican restaurants north of the line gets loaded up with chocolate because that's how the gringos think it's supposed to be.  Then some of the gringos pretend to like it because it's snob-cool. 

So, I'm going to test the hypothesis.  My research suggests the real secret of mole poblano is the intersection of three chiles - Anchos, Pasillas, and Muletas - with nuts. 

We'll find out if I'm right this afternoon...if I can get Muletas at the local tienda.

That no one deserves to get raped should go without saying, however, I question someone who dates someone like this, who obviously has ...odd?... tastes, and not expect things to push the boundaries a bit. There's a very easy line to judge between getting freaky and getting raped, and that's the point where the woman says no at any time. I just wonder about the timing of her claim, since this is not the first time stuff like this has been said about him. The last time he was accused would've been a great time to bring it up.

Not saying it didn't happen, but I'm also not in the "automatically believe them" camp, either. It's like the senator describing porn, "I can't define it, but I know it when I see it" or something to that effect. Something about this story just doesn't add up for me.
