In 1913, the 16th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, providing for a federal income tax, was ratified.

No Commies Here Folks:

A new TSA drivers license could be mandatory for doing more than driving between states in 2016. Nevada and Idaho are among the states which could keep you grounded if you don’t have an advanced form of the card called the Real ID.

This means that when you get to the TSA checkpoint, if your license doesn’t have the proper markings, such as a gold circle with a star inside it, it will feature the words “Not for Federal Official Use” and you might not be able to board a flight. Idaho residents are among those in nine states who will face a problem with this, due to the cost for the state to bring the documents up to compliance.

The Real ID Act passed in 2005 by Congress was created as a way to keep terrorists off of planes, and so far it hasn’t been entirely enforced

That means they can't come here or I can't go there?  I doubt Nevada will stand for this.  Imagine not being able to get folks to your casinos?

My neighbors flew back from Montreal yesterday.  They said that all flights were cancelled except for Air Canada.

Talk about chit the bed!!!

AUSTIN (AP) — A rattlesnake has bitten a handler — but didn’t inject any venom — during a promotion for the 57th annual Rattlesnake Roundup at the Texas Capitol.

Volunteers stood watch for hours over a dozen snakes Monday, as they slithered around the outdoor rotunda. Carefully, they held the venomous snakes’ heads and tails for pictures.

But by midafternoon, handler Blake Stephens picked up a serpent whose fang penetrated his thumb, drawing blood and causing him to drop the snake.

Picture of the attacker:

Yea, those airports wouldn't be a cluster# if they tried to enforce that.
