Anyone tried the Romeo y Julieta Media Noche yet? Tempted to get the weekend special to try them out.
I'm intrigued too but also very leery.

I wonder if there is a cigar banter site for the 1%.  Wonder what they're discussing?
Yeah it is called CI and they are drunk talking about Travellin Dave most of the time
They're just as downtrodden as us.  They ain't the 1%, trust me.
You and I know that but they don't seem to as they boast of their Cubans!

@LTG:  Sorry to read about your work stuff.  There's a lot of that going around.
Looking myself
Perhaps you and LTG should just say fuckit and move to an RV park in Florida.  There is a precedent for such a move, you know.
....and lots available.

Antnee had some interest as well, but I don't know of anyone that has tried them.  Might even try something like this if offered on the jam or price came down:  http://www.cigarsinternational.com/samplers/85259/media-noche-intro-sampler/#p-158030
I think that was on the cover of my latest catalog.  At least I thought I saw that and then I'm not sure what the wife did with it.

That is kind of interesting at a decent Jam price reduction.

No, they meet in person at one of the 5K/year membership smoking clubs.
Only 5K?
Well, yea starting there for places outside of NYC.

No interest in the Upmann, had the Monte. The RyJ is up for the weekend special, 10 at 39$ and a cheap cutter.

That is the one I was thinking of going for.

Oh no, they're real.  Real pains in the ass, that is.  I have the authenticity papers to prove it.

Here is you some performance based management at its best.  In NYC today coming to a city near you very soon.  Performance metrix are revenue and reduction in private vehicle use.

@LTG:  Sorry to read about your work stuff.  There's a lot of that going around.
Looking myself
+1 and that very performance based bullshit is the reason.
Y'all made me Google this "performance based scheduling".  All I've found is it applies to call centers.  Something about giving the "most productive" more hours when it gets slow, or first dibs on the schedule.  But if your job isn't in a call center, not sure how it applies.
I do work in a call center, so that's pretty much spot on.
It's the first step towards outsourcing IMO.  The big Microsoft(formerly Great Plains) campus here just outsourced their payroll...COMMIES!
That is true.  Warden works for a very large foreign company controlled by a socialist country and they are steadily outsourcing, most recently their HR and Accounting.  Meanwhile the high performers that actually know what they are doing work their asses into the ground trying to keep the wheels on.
They had about 18 people on their team...15 were let go and 3 were kept to continue processing in the states while also being re-purposed.  I think it's only a matter of time before the whole department is out.  Don't usually see that in little 'ol ND!
