My one son is playing an indoor soccer game this weekend called futsal. The first game was last Sunday but I was herfing and had to miss it. I hear it's really cool and am looking forward to it on Sunday. But not so much that I'm wishing the rest of the weekend away.

Had to look that one up. Sounds like what my nephew did during the pandemic that I was able to watch on FB. But since it was the pandemic, his team wasn't allowed to practice, so they weren't very good. They played other teams that did practice, so they basically had no chance.

We also have both boys playing basketball this Saturday. They're actually on two teams. The one team that plays this weekend is undefeated. It's a recreational team that includes 7th and 8th graders only from our town. The other team is a more competitive league where we play neighboring towns and it includes 7th graders only. That team doesn't play again for two weeks and we're 4-8 with four games left.

So I'm not bragging here but the 5 kids that played last week had never practiced but have played outdoor soccer together for years. This was their very first game and they played against a team that had been doing this for four years. Our team won.

Sounds like a well-oiled machine they've got there.

The cabinets themselves, yes. I removed the doors to paint them as well, so I'll put them back up once everything is dry. I've done most of the kitchen already, this is the last section to be finished. And thank goodness, because this is a project I'd never tackle again.
