Indeed, depending on the mix, you can entertain a lot of critters.

I can't wake up this morning.... I still need to clean the living room and kitchen, and clean Peteys birdcage, and take a shower before 8 a.m. so I can be ready to go and babysit the grandkids...

I used to have a bird feeder about 15 years ago and the squirrels would get into them. They would take the corn and burry it in the back yard. Then in the summer I would look into the backyard and see various stalks of corn growing, especially near the fence where I would miss cutting grass. Damn squirrels...!

I had bought a cheep feeder on clearance, and it had a metal grid pattern made over it. The birds could stick their heads in and get the seed, but the grid was too small and kept the squirrels out. It work very good. The hardware store had one with a sliding door that was attached to the bird perches. The weight of the squirrel while holding onto the feeder would slide the feeding slots shut. It look like a pretty good design.

5/27/2016?
Oh dang! I knew it looked funny. I stared at it to death and still couldn't figure it out. Hahaha.

I sort of slept n a bit this morning.

I see in the news that some one hacked into the IRS and stole 700,000 taxpayers files. The IRS will provide a service to you so you can keep an eye on your accounts for one year. (free Equifax identity theft protection product for one year) You know, years ago the biggest threat of getting a virus onto your computer was by buying an Anti-Virus program. So the Anti-Virus providers were creating their own market.

Good morning TR and Tony....!
Happy Saturday, BD. Babysitting today?
Yes, from 8:30am till around 2 or 3pm. My wife bought a bottle of Bushmills Irish Whiskey on clearance for $8, so I'm going to give it to my son since I'm not big on Irish Whiskey. I think he will like it.

I always thought that however inconvenient, the government's systems shouldn't be accessible online. Other than brochureware and informational type content, of course. With that said, I still efile my taxes.

They work pretty well, but if squirrels get frustrated enough they just knock it down and destroy it.

You have probably forgotten more about IT matters than I will ever know but I will say it does not matter because the govt IT personnel are so corrupt and incompetent a 5 year old could hack anything they got regardless of whether it is online or not.

I don't use Tapatalk for the flip. The other funny thing is that I originally put 5/27/2015 but caught and corrected the year before too long.

I'm starting to think that politicians are here to steal and plunder taxpayers money. Not to work, help, or serve them. I keep asking myself, "Who was the last politician that actually did anything to help the American People...?" I know I'm probably wrong on this, but it's the first thing that comes to my mind was when Nixon put a freeze on an out of control economy." Anyway I'll stop the political stuff... ::)

I think it might have been George Washington.

Not interested in the nub cappuccino's that are scorching but not a bad deal if you're into them; box of 20 for $61.50.
And if I smoked more morning cigars and I had the room or the funds, the box of San Lotano connies for $75 wasn't too shabby either.

You're just STARTING to think that? Then again, it's partly our own fault. Real corrections take time, and in our impatience we continue to go with those offering a quick fix which is rarely the right way.
-
5-pack of Centurions (the Don Pepin variety) robustos are up for $23.57. Pretty sure that's as cheap as I've seen them.
-
Aaaaaand Cusanos are up for the last scorcher of the day. What a let down.

Good deal on those SL's and last night they had the Robusto Habano's for $76 and change.

Hope everyone enjoyed the scorcher! Today is not so bright :(

Correct, we must re-elect them for at least 6 terms to fix things.
-
Hop everyone enjoyed the scorcher! :(
Yeah but that's ok because I was getting a little too close to pulling the trigger a few times there.

I might not have been able to resist that one.

And as usual, the Page takes Saturday off.... with sweatshirts.... :o
-
I will never forget the first letter I ever wrote to a politician was to then Senator John Breaux (D)LA who only served 33 years in Congress from 1972 to 2005. Wrote him (he was a "conservative" Democarat) regarding not supporting the Clinton gun legislation. In a few weeks I got a nice letter back from him thanking me and saying he would not support that or any other anti gun legislation....... What a great response, unfortunately he had already voted FOR Bill's Bill a few days before the date of the letter.

That just tells me it's time to shake a leg and get things going for the day.
Going to the big city again today to catch my brother-in-law's show (http://www.59e59.org/moreinfo.php?showid=232) and perhaps a meal. Gotta earn it first.

A retirement tub Must Have:
Tatuaje will release a third sampler based off its popular Monster Series blends. The sampler will contain the ten Monster blends released to date – all in a 6 x 38 petite lancero format. Tatuaje Owner Pete Johnson said on an interview with Cigar Chat that the samplers should be available before the 2016 IPCPR Trade Show in July. Johnson also said in that interview that there are future plans for on-going production of each of the ten Skinny Monsters in individual 25 count boxes.
The Skinny Monsters sampler is the third sampler to be released under the Monsters line. In 2012, Tatuaje released the Little Monsters was a ten count sampler which included shorter and thinner versions of the first five Monsters releases. Two years later, Tatuaje unveiled the ten count Pudgy Monsters, which was a shorter version, but same ring gauge of the first six monsters releases. That sampler also included two new blends, Chuck and Tiff that were not released as Monsters.
For Skinny Monsters, it will be first sampler where all of the Monster blends will be in the same size. This sampler includes the 6 x 38 versions eight Monsters releases, plus 6 x 38 versions of the Chuck and Tiff.
Johnson also commented on Cigar Chat that the 25 count Skinny Monsters boxes will be shown at the 2016 IPCPR Trade Show.

Evening Sly, where you been hiding?
Hi TR, been pretty busy ... it's a full time just staying out of trouble. How are you?
Watching #20 Purdue beating our local #10 Maryland team, which started the season 15-1, so this is kind of painful.
Your greeting reminds me, what should be my first cigar tonight. I'm at home now, was hoping to get some
housework done, but I got online and it's been going through and responding to e-mails ... now going through
the banter. Then meeting a buddy to watch NC & VA at 6:30pm where we can smoke cigars.
Sipping a Lagunitas Brown Shugga right now.

I was shopping at the local Harris-Teeter, and there was a woman setting up a sampling table for her Ginger Beer.
She is from a family that originally settled in Bermuda or the Bahamas, then went to the Turks & Caicos where
the produced 80% of the salt used in the British Colonies, then in the States during the 1600-1800's.
The family also produced a ginger beer, before the amber waves of grain after the expansion of the States
following the War of 1812, which made grain available for fermenting. Before that it was sugar cane baby ...
This stuff was tasty!!! and complex. She is the brewer, done at a brewery in Greenville, SC.
If you know anyone who needs a gluten-free brew ... let them know about this.
It is a true Ginger Beer brewed from cane sugar and ginger, with a fresh fruit citrus touch added ... perfect for a Dark and Stormy
with Gosling's Black Seal rum. She's only in a few states right now, DC south - VA, NC, SC, moving into GA.
Oh, it's called Islander Ginger Beer ... 5% ABV 4pk 12oz. bottles ... pricey at !2.99 ($3.25/bottle) ...
but I tell you ... this could be the pool side adult beverage for many, if they can get people to try it.

I hope you can find it, she has an agreement with Harris Teeter to market it through them. She was amazing to talk with, but
the Ginger Beer was so tasty & complex in a natural kind of way ... I think it has the potential to really take off ... plus it being gluten free
a lot of people are going that way, even when they don't medically need to.
See you later, TR, I have to hit the road to meet my buddy.

Is it real spicy hot? The Islander is tasty and zesty but not a tongue burner.

Blenheim: Good For What Ales You
Innocuous packaging and the words ginger ale do nothing to warn the unsuspecting of Blenheim's fiery kick!
Concocted from a secret blend of spices, this South Carolina icon is one that will both quench your thirst and set your mouth ablaze. While its reputation spans the country, Blenheim's has deep roots in the Pee Dee region of our state.
Thankfully, there are three spicy varieties of Blenheim Ginger Ale to choose from: Hot (pink cap), Not As Hot (gold cap), and Diet (white cap). While we happily urge you to try this unique drink, we'll recommend you try the Not As Hot first!

Very nice, happy I got them.
Not familiar with them. What's the background?
melting snow in my yard

Wonky sinuses. The devil's been making me do it. Keep saying never again but one thing leads to another. Evening Greg.

Is the future of America listening to you at all?
-
No. And yes. Ha. Always trying to put that seed into the brain. How have you been Mikey?
-
I hate that I have not been around at all, to be honest. Missed a lot of excellent conversations with some most excellent people. Reality, we have a later start at work, working same hours but get home later. By then I am exhausted, dinner and warsen time, sleep and then the day starts again. Weekends entail getting the fuck out to do something. Warden worked today, she went to bed early, thought I'd say hi at the most scarce time lol!
