A little lean for a Friday page 3.
Well, a time-warp is in order.

Indeed.  Thought to include her, but stuck to the one page post.

I probably have posted this story before but whatever gets us to Page 4, right?

Riccardo Muti's dad was a doctor in my father's town (Molfetta, Italy) and my uncle was his chauffeur. The only reason Muti was born in Naples is that his mother traveled back for each of her deliveries (4?) because she didn't want her kids, who might one day be famous, to be born in some podunk town on the Adriatic. She hated the fact that her husband dragged her there to begin with.

Just dropped my car off at the body shop to have repairs made (backordered parts finally arrived). Had a quick lunch and now smoking this Drew Estate 20 Acre Farm for my walk home. It's a very tasty Connecticut.

A fine accessory for a walk.

An interesting story, nonetheless.

It was hot as balls during that 3-mile trek but I made it home in one piece. Time to soak in the a/c for a bit.
