James Earl Jones dead at 93.
We're long past putting nails in the coffin of my childhood.  Now they're just pissing on the grave and vandalizing the headstone.

Morning, muchachos.
How goes it, buddy?
Work is still kicking my ass, my brother obviously still has cancer, and the drummer in Fumblewump is in the hospital in restraints because he's suffering from hepatic encephalopathy.  That's kind of scary.

On the other hand, I made some progress on my various guitar projects over the weekend and the Seahawks managed to win, so there's that.
I've been meaning to ask how your brother's feeling?
Other than the attacks of neuropathy, he's doing remarkably well.
Is that an expected symptom?

Yeah, it's the chemo.  Every so often all his nerves light up at once in pain, and his entire body tenses up.  It's almost like a seizure, except he doesn't lose consciousness.  They give him medication for it, and he's trying to learn not to tense up, because that leaves him really sore afterward.

That sounds awful. I hope he'll be feeling better soon.
