607 words after the first guess. 32 after the second. Had I chosen either of two more obvious words for the second guess, I'd have had three greens and been down to 9 or 10 words. But in the heat of battle I overlooked those obvious words. The result would have turned out the same, however, because all would have eliminated the same particular letter as my second guess did. At that point, given letter elimination, and what I've learned about letter occurrence and biases of the game, the final guess became pretty obvious.
