Morning, all. Happy Office Friday. And since the kids are sleeping over at my parents house tonight, it's also Golf Day for me after work.

Gotta take advantage where I can. A perfect storm of kids being gone, plus wife working, plus good weather. Also, going to a great Pete Dye course, regularly mentioned as being one of the best public courses in Ohio. Haven't been there in a few years, hope it still holds up nice.

usually playing off the gold markers are the old people tees but they use it as the tips.

most places I've played have blue - tips, white - regular, red - women, gold - old folks. I just play the 'regular' tees.

I think the nicer the course is, the more tee boxes they feel they have to have in order to justify their quality. I remember back in the day when there were 3 - pro, men and women. Can't even call them men's and women's tees nowadays.

Well, by 1880, a lot of people. Bell patented the first practical telephone in 1876. But Anthony Meucci had the idea in 1849. And the first transatlantic telegraph cable had been completed in 1858. But...yeah.  After Bell it was twelve years to Tesla's invention of radio, then another  another 60-odd years until Hedy Lamarr invented Wi-Fi.

I was always, baby, I was always
Well almost always true to you
Met a pretty mademoiselle
Her papa owned a small hotel
Oh, I was almost always true to you
I resisted tho' my arm was twisted
I was almost always true to you
Stayed away from drinkin' wine
Thought about you all the time
Oh, I was almost always true to you
Kept refusin' don't jump to conclusions
I was almost always true to you
I would never grab like this
I would never steal a kiss
Oh, I was almost always true to you

Good morning Dave, Dean, Tony & Mark!
Good morning, Sam. I smoked a shitty stick yesterday so I've earned a good one for today. Just need to decide what that'll be. What's smoking in your neck of tyne woods?
Damn, sorry to hear that.  had a Baja maduro toro for the ride in today.  haven't picked a lunch or ride home smoke yet.  had a Nica Rustica on the ride home yesterday.  very nice.
Hmmm, I have one of those with me. But I'm leaning towards a Kristoff only because I haven't smoked one in a long while.
Had a "The Griffins" Toro for lunch.  Kristoff sounds good.

I've got my Kristoff Criollo torpedo ready to go. Just ended my last meeting for the day. Boy of boy though, what a headache I have.

That was a pretty good smoke. Really enjoyed the Criollo wrapper.
