Let's talk cigars! What deals have you found on the various Internet sites today?

Might grab some flor de las antillas or cubaos on the monster. Last batch of cubaos I had years ago had a bunch of cracked wrappers though and the FDLA don't taste as good as when I first had them.

That's like advertising shit. Shouldn't you know that? I believe if you have the proper pic editor, you can shrink down the resolution. It automatically shrinks when posted as an avvy but not sure if there is a similar setting for that for attached files. I guess I can go look. Sheesh.
The max size allowed is really small. Maybe the iphone just takes really big pictures? I could always upload them somewhere and just use an image code, but that's too much effort, especially when using a phone.

I couldn't be less interested in them at the price they typically go for. I haven't tried one so I can't speak from experience, but based on every other Diesel I've had there are plenty of other sticks I'd reach for first in that price range even it were still to be a 'blind' purchase.
They way I see things like this, and it's all just personal opinion, is that if I don't particularly enjoy a 'house flavor profile - as I do not with AJ and his CI exclusive stuff - I'm not gonna take chances on his more expensive stuff under the assumption that it'll be better. I did this with the Armada coronas. Bleh, what a mistake. On the other hand, I like the vast majority of stuff done by EP Carrillo, so if he releases something at the higher end of the pricing spectrum I'll try it with the pretty good idea that I'll enjoy based on past experience with him and his cigars.

Right? Granted you gotta by the whole jar, but after the Father's Day coupon (DAD40) for $40 off $140, they come to $131 a jar. That's about $6.89 a cigar. There's no way in hell anything with the Diesel name on it will smoke better than the Tatuaje Black. And I'm not a Tatuaje apologist, either. Some of his stuff is way outta my 'zone' with flavors, and some of his stuff just doesn't work for me in certain vitolas. But that Black... mmmm...

Honestly, I hand out more than I smoke. I mean, its a great cigar and all, but with the size and amount I have, I usually always bring a couple with me when I plan on smoking out. It seems cigar blends are getting more and more complex and tasty. I'm starting to rethink the "buy a shit ton of this stuff and sit on it" method because it means I miss the chance to smoke some great newer sticks coming out.

As you can see by the purchase, my favorite styles are double/triple IPAs and thick, sweet stouts. Total opposites. Definitely looking for the Old Rasputin to be a 'go to' stout in a smaller bottle. Sometimes the larger 22oz bombers are just too much for the real heavy stuff.

Yeah, there's a 'new' one every other month or so. It's mostly a gimmick, their way of emphasizing exactly how fresh the beer is and to drink it and "enjoy" it at it's best... in their opinion. Gimmick or not, it's tasty stuff.

It may be an exception to the rule but I get by with one 8oz humicare jar in a 48qt....no fans. Holds steady at 66-67

Yeah. Pollen down here, especially pine, can be crazy. I washed my car before and a few short hours later it was coated yellow. Rinsed it. Two hours later, same thing. That stuff gets in your eyes and it's like paste. I can't imagine with contacts.

I've heard of using a cooler on the other site. You just use the humi gels too, or the bigger fan systems? If so, How many jars for a std 48 qt cooler do you think it would take?

They have a calculator on that site. I use a pound for my 120 quart cooler. I don't know if that's right, but it works for me. My 65% beads are always right on the money. Helps to keep the cooler more full than not. I don't use fans.
To me, gels give off this weird funky smell. I love my beads.

Same here. Most times I toss a jar it's because it gets contaminated, not because it's dried up or unusable. The beads seem a lot better. I've even taken them out and rinsed them with distilled water if they look a little funky. Something you can't really do with the original ground up gels.

This La Reloba Hababo is still burning straight and producing plenty of smoke.
Same sweet tobacco, but a lot of sweet cedar in there, as well. Still nutty, earthy, just a touch of pepper/spice. The extra rest has made this very easy going--I'd still call it medium bodied and it doesn't taste weak, though. Probably would be a good stick for someone newer to cigars.

Ken, I just smoked one of those the other night. My review was on the first day of the new banter. It got sent to me over the winter, before Xmas I think, and I'm not sure how long it was down before that.
All in all, a very interesting stick that has a lot of growth as the RG gets smaller. From the picture mine looked like it has a sharper taper a bit.
