I don't think your analysis was off. Pat O'Brien, Ken Wahl, and Freddie Highmore are probably outliers in whatever cohort I fit in.  I've always been a news junkie, so Pat O'Brien. Reruns of "Wiseguy" with Ken Wahl was insomnia fare in the early 90's before cable was ubiquitous and before Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web.  I remember Freddie Highmore simply because I have sons of a certain age, and he starred in several of the movies they wanted to see in the 'aughts.
