Charlie was installing a new door and found that one of the hinges
was missing.


He asked his wife Mary if she would go to Home Depot and pick up a hinge.


Mary agreed to go. While she was waiting for the manager to finish
serving a customer, her eye caught a beautiful bathroom faucet.


When the manager was finished, Mary asked him, "How much is that
faucet?"


The manager replied, "That's a gold plated faucet and the price is
$500.00.

Mary exclaimed, "My goodness, that's an expensive faucet -- certainly
out of my price range.."

She then proceeded to describe the hinge that Charlie had sent her to
buy.

The manager said that he had them in stock and went into the
storeroom to get one.


From the storeroom the manager yelled.
"Ma'am, you wanna screw for the hinge?"

Mary shouted back,
"No, but I will for the faucet."

This is why you can't
send a woman to Home Depot!

This was presented to us by one of our friends as being a true story.  Our friend went to her gynecologist.  Right before going in, she decided she may not be fresh enough and went into the bathroom to freshen up.  She reached into her purse and took out some Kleenex to dry off with.  Later during the examination, the doctor said, "this is the first time I've seen them handing these out...?"  And pulled out a Green Stamp.  She assumed that a Green Stamp must have been attached to the Kleenex she had used to dry off with.

I watched a show last week for two hours about finding Bigfoot, and at the end, guess what...? They still didn't find him...!!!

I finished watching all of last seasons TrueBlood.  Now what to watch next...?  I'm sort of bummed that I won't be able to find something as good to watch.  I did record Fargo, I wonder if that's any good...?
