Took a boat ride to dinner last night with the Boy and DIL.   Enjoyable trip, about 12 miles down the river, even though the used to be really good waterfront bar food dive has gone to hell in a hand basket since we ate there in the spring.

The calm before the storm here... Next weekend begins all the sports craziness for the Fall.

This weekend the wife is taking me on a small trip. Still have no idea where. Kids are at grandma's all weekend. I guess maybe I should have given some more thought to a 20th anniversary gift?
