Post by: CigarBanter on December 29, 2014, 12:00:03 AM
Brrrrr!  It's getting cold out there again. It appears we'll be hard pressed to find any warm cigar deals on the various internet sites to help us get through it.  Join in this discussion and perhaps learn something about cigars along the way.  Be warned, post on this site and you will catch hell from members and trolls alike.  Therefore, don't proceed if you have thin skin.  If you can accept all that, light a cigar, pour a hot toddy and welcome aboard!

Outhouse
-------------------------

Once there was a little boy that lived in the country. They had
to use an outhouse, and the little boy hated it because it was
hot in the summer and cold in the winter and stank all the time.
The outhouse was sitting on the bank of a creek and the boy
determined that one day he would push that outhouse into the
creek. One day after a spring rain, the creek was swollen so the
little boy decided today was the day to push the outhouse into
the creek. So he got a large stick and started pushing. Finally,
the outhouse toppled into the creek and floated away. That night
his dad told him they were going to the woodshed after supper.
Knowing that meant a spanking, the little boy asked why.

The dad replied, "Someone pushed the outhouse into the creek today.
It was you, wasn't it son?"

The boy answered yes. Then he thought a moment and said, "Dad, I read in school today that George
Washington chopped down a cherry tree and didn't get into trouble
because he told the truth."

The dad replied, "Well, son, George Washington's father wasn't in the cherry tree."

Anyone got the word on these "uncut" diesels?  BTW, any "yes" answers will be met with a swift and merciless GFY.
went through web searches and could find no reviews. sorry. I'll hit them just out of general principles.

Ha, beat me to it.  Generally like AJ's stuff, but a 10'er of Hair of the Dog arrives Wed, so not inclined to pull the trigger again.
I too am generally an AJ fan and Hair of the Dogs are perhaps one of the best of the Diesel's IMHO.

A Kentucky couple, both bonified rednecks, had 9 children. They went to the doctor to see about getting the husband "fixed".
The doctor gladly started the required procedure and asked them what finally made them make the decision--why, after nine children, would they choose to do this.

The husband replied that they had read in a recent article that one out of every ten children being born in the United States was Mexican, and they didn't want to take a chance on having a Mexican baby because neither of them could speak Spanish.

After having their 11th child, an Alabama couple decided that was enough, as they could not afford a larger bed. So the husband went to his veterinarian and told him that he and his cousin didn't want to have any more children.

The doctor told him that there was a procedure called a vasectomy that could fix the problem but that it was expensive. A less costly alternative, said the doctor, was to go home, get a cherry bomb (fireworks are legal in Alabama), light it, put it in a beer can, then hold the can up to his ear and count to 10.

The Alabamian said to the doctor, "I may not be the smartest man in the world, but I don't see how putting a cherry bomb in a beer can next to my ear is going to help me".

"Trust me," said the doctor.

So the man went home, lit a cherry bomb and put it in a beer can. He held the can up to his ear and began to count:

"1"

"2"

"3"

"4"

"5"

At which point he paused, placed the beer can between his legs, an resumed counting on his other hand.

This procedure also works in Kentucky, Mississippi, and West Virginia.

Todays Headline:   Berkeley County deputies issue holiday checkpoints for "Sober or Slammer" campaign

And another Headline Today:  22-year-old dies after wreck with SC trooper who was chasing a driver for not stopping at a DUI Checkpoint.

Morning, muchachos.  Lessee, over the weekend I smoked a SOA Clubhouse Edition Chapel at 6x52.  I actually enjoyed the cigar.  Nice flavors, just the right amount of pepper for my taste, went nicely with the Bulleit bourbon I was offered with it.  The carved box was cool.  I wouldn't pay the $135 my friend the Squire paid for it, but he has a tendency to spend more on his cigars than is necessary - especially for a man who has somewhere near fifty boxes of cigars aging in his root cellar.

His actually is a root cellar.  Looks like a shed, except it's built into the embankment his house sits on.  It's not connected to the house. Humidified by an artificial waterfall of his own rigging.

then they tell the story of Luigi & Lisa who had 9 kids and didn't want any more.
Luigi is complaining about all the kids to the neighbor, who tells him to go to the drugstore
and ask the man for a condom.  well Luigi goes and tell the druggist, that he donna want no more children
please sell me this a condom thing, but not an expensive one.  so the druggist sell him the economy brand
and thinks nothing of it.  Nine months later Luigi says, the cheap one no work, give him the better brand.
again ten months, Luigi is really mad, so the druggist asks him, is he following the
instructions that are on the package.  Luigi says sure
kinda.   the druggist asks shyly, trying to figure out if Luigi is making mistake.
He hands him a new condom, the best in the store and
asks Luigi to show how he uses it.   Luigi, takes the condom and starts reading in broken english.
"place Condom on your sexual organ..." Luigi looks up and says "We no gotta organ, so I
put in on the piano!"

I had to do some serious rearranging in my humidor to handle the two boxes I've got.  But now I could fit two more of those boxes in, which isn't helping me resist temptation.

I keep telling myself I'm about to be broke from medical expenses.  That helps.

It would take me a while to get through my inventory.  But I'm still going to be broke.
Tomorrow is surgery day isn't it?
Yeah, gotta report at 7:30am, surgery at 9:30am.  I'll post a quick hello when they're wheeling me in, just because I'm twisted.
By all means post away!  Meanwhile if I miss you in the morning best of luck to you and give us a report when you are able.
Thanks, amigo.  I appreciate the concern.

I'm no college football guru but I'm not seeing the Sooners recovering from this one.

Don't even need to be a mathematics major to figure this one out.

CigarPlace and Famous keep hanging out those CyB Coronas.  Dammit.  I already have two boxes.
Hah, I got one box on the way and got to put together a temporary humi for it.
I had to do some serious rearranging in my humidor to handle the two boxes I've got.  But now I could fit two more of those boxes in, which isn't helping me resist temptation.

I keep telling myself I'm about to be broke from medical expenses.  That helps.
My big humi is balls to the wall packed and smaller one is full up too.  Well if you hot plenty of cigars the you are not broke!

Deano, how does that Upmann compare to the Monte Media Noche?

I did that Media Noches Sampler. only had the Monte and this is the 1st H.Upmann. very similar but the Monte is smoother but has a much tighter draw. H.Upmann is a bit larger, not as tight but great flavors and easier draw.
