I forgot to refill my portable humidor yesterday so I stopped by Martinez Cigar on my way home.  The Passion is a nice cigar but expensive and under-filled.  It served its purpose but you don't expect an $8 corona to split, unravel, etc.  The draw was decent but the burn was a bit wonky too.

Nothing as disapponting as a smoke that underperforms. The good thing is you can try again today with another selection.

Think it was a storage/humidity issue or general construction?

Not related, but the Tat Blk CG's are gone on the deal at Famous... not surprised. I think there was 14 when I left out yeasterday. Glad I picked one up.

Nothing as disapponting as a smoke that underperforms. The good thing is you can try again today with another selection.

Made right there on the premises in NYC.  Unfortunately I think it was shitty construction.  Flavors were fine though.

It is indeed the Martinez brand.  This particular one is called 'Passion'.  The photo sucks but I didn't look at it until today.

The LaBomba's are a staple for me. Definitely my favorite. Still need to sample the Warhead as well.
