The Gift
-------------------------

On the first day of school, the children brought gifts for their teacher.
The florist's son brought the teacher a bouquet of flowers.
The candy-store owner's daughter gave the teacher a pretty box of candy.
Then the liquor-store owner's son brought up a big, heavy box.
The teacher lifted it up and noticed that it was leaking a little bit.
She touched a drop of the liquid with her finger and tasted it.

"Is it wine?" she guessed.

"No," the boy replied. She tasted another drop and asked, " Champagne ?

"No," said the little boy... "It's a puppy!"

Morning Slackers, Golf, Travellin Dave, Fitzy, Tony, Bean and all others that i might have missed or who are still piled in under the covers.  2nd pot of good ol CDM Chicory 90 weithg coffee is in my mug here.  Could use a donut though.
Got that Louisiana blend going?
Yes sir that is my regular morning drink of choice but I do twist off to something else once in a while - main thing is it has to be the darkest of dark roasts.
That sounds yummy.  Could use a cup now.  Loved the coffee with chicory when I visited New Orleans.
You can order it right up online shipped to your door and make it at home.   CDM, French Market and Cafe Du Monde all readily available.  CDM is a bit darker than the others and the serious powerhouse of the family, French Market is the lightest of the darks.

Can't say I have....but I did make one Hooters Air flight while they were in business.
Gotta pray for turbulence on that flight.
Afraid I'd wear out my flight attendant call button.  Morning Dave.

I thought they put people in jail for crap such as this, wonder if the teachers will have to register on the sex offenders lists because they certainly qualify to ::)  Vegas schools consider teaching 5-year-olds about masturbation...
Just dumbing down the curriculum....how hard is that to learn, really....although I could use an easy A..... BTW, what is fourstar studying?  Maybe he can change majors.
LOL!  MBA-Executive  8)  I already have a doctoral degree in masturbation
Time for the sausage.

Did anyone order the Tat Lancero Sampler from Famous yesterday? Final cost is like $61, I think I'll get one
Thought seriouslly about it but went with the cookie jar instead.  I think that sampler is a nice deal for $61 though and still might jump on it.
Great deal IMO.
Which one, or both? DrDick
Yellowstar is going to have a many names as littlefish soon.  Douche and Doucher....
Ha! Like you and Tony, The Bag Brothers - Douche and Duffle
I just noticed the other day that the Yellowstars are definitely something for special people as only two members have them and they are certainly special!  Futhermore CG has 4 and the other one has 5 so CG is either the bigger or littler not sure.
COMMIES!
New the other one was but did not realize you were but that is what going to college these days does to young punks.
Who is the yellowstar with 5?  All I see are RWB and BlueBalls!
Actually he has only 2 not 5.
Ahh, that makes sense...we have to earn em being yell'er stars!

good morning guys. was out early for breakfast then hit the driving range, did some chipping, played in the bunkers, and putting green. got a 1:30 tee time after the noon meeting. about as ready as I'm going to be. got a few smokes and cooler of water and ginger ale. looked the lunch menu over here at the club and there ain't no way in hell I'm eating here, green fees are cheaper. enjoy, I am.

I love Florida.
God, where is bitter-Dean...I think I like him more! ;)
No wonder Redneck Rick had to move out....too much rainbows and unicorns here....

Dear Shaun Harrison,

We are pleased to inform you that your order is on its way!

Your order tracking information is listed below.
I think they are the best.  Smoke Inn has the nice hand written note thing, but they can afford that for what they charge.
Their prices are either on-market or just absurd.  Need to find someone to get Tatuaje TAAs from...I don't think ATL is a TAA member...
I posted a link yesterday for those, did you see it?
For them at ATL?  I see Corona Cigar just got em, Emerson's, and Smoke Inn...but not ATL...
Oh no, I posted Emerson's link
I need a promo code for them, haha
Who has the lowest price on them? I know it ain't SmokeInn
Everyone is in the $190s from what I can see
Pull the trigger cheapo!
2,800 boxes...plenty to go around and wait for a deal :)

I forgot to refill my portable humidor yesterday so I stopped by Martinez Cigar on my way home.  The Passion is a nice cigar but expensive and under-filled.  It served its purpose but you don't expect an $8 corona to split, unravel, etc.  The draw was decent but the burn was a bit wonky too.

Nothing as disapponting as a smoke that underperforms. The good thing is you can try again today with another selection.

Think it was a storage/humidity issue or general construction?

Made right there on the premises in NYC.  Unfortunately I think it was shitty construction.  Flavors were fine though.

Ya. A maduro seems to be the easiest to fuck up. Don't know, but I've enjoyed some maddys before, re-visited and hated them. Probably why I don't inventory too many maddy selections. Rustica's, Frita's, LaRiqueza and as of late OOM's

Guess I'll break for lunch myself. All this talk is making me more hungry than I thought I was.
Taco in a bag and maple-bacon wrapped chicken tenders...yeah, I would say he hit the fuckin nail on the head with this menu!

Bacon is a no brainer... taco in a bag? Never heard of it. Like tacos though. This a protein version without the tortilla? Pour it down your throat hole.
Essentially: take a bag of doritos, crush them up, add taco meat, lettuce, hot sauce/salsa, sour cream, jalapenos, etc, and eat...tortilla-less taco is a good way to think of it.

That damn Famous had a new 601 called Steel Rod this morning on the regular daily deal 5/$25 or 26 wanted to try them but thought too expensive.  Now they show them on the Mash as sold out for 5/$22.   Frik'n dicks
Sound like factory second using La Bomba leftovers.  Wouldn't consider for over the mash price.

Oscuro Habano wrapper... I wondered how different than the Green's they could be.

Go into any restaurant in downtown Austin and you will find 100% commies working there regardless of whether they are male, female or yet to be determined.  Saw a hot looking cross dresser on the way back as a matter of fact.

Now, Frito pie I've had. Had kidney's in it though. I'm pretty sure Texas chili has no beans, but these were pretty good.

Haha, is it Tuesday? ;)  I always love bitching about beans in chili, but I hate beans...so that's really my only reason.  And the national chili competitions don't allow beans...I throw that out there if they continue to piss me off  :P

Dagwood Sandwich at the hippy sub shop - waiter wearing peddle pushers (capri pants for you children of the 80's)
80s kids are the best!
Guess you are wearing capri pants to school now.
LOL!  I don't wear capris, those are for commies...or women
And schoolboys of the 80's - don't worry they come in Plus Sizes
I wasn't even in school in the 80s :)
I did finish my Masters then...
I had a child in the 80's so I know plenty about children of the 80's!  I am pretty sure mine don't wear capri pants though.

They'd be fetchin' a switch if they did!

Honestly don't recall capris for the 80's. Unfortunately, I do remember the parachute pants and the cavarichi's.(sp?)

Your chef is a fraud, those are and always have been Frito Chili Pies and the idiot just used the wrong kind of chips like he re-invented it or something.  They are NOT Tacos!
Who would've thought this would be one of his hot buttons?
My dad, who is pure Texas, is obsessed with frito pies...never makes chili at home without a bag of fritos incorporated
Your dad is a wise man, in Louisana we ate rice in our chili most of the time but in TX you don't usually cook chili without some frito's.
Just make sure none of you guys ever go to Ohio....particularly CB's neck of the woods....what they do to chili....sheesh!
Cincinatti Red Chili - got a neighbor from there and they brought some of tht chit to a neighborhood covered dish deal and holy chit they ain't come back to one since after all that hell!
Ugh...fuck that noise.  Ain't nobody got time for bad chili!

That shit is famous there too. Funny how some mis-information can steamroll.

They're a Famous Exclusive

Deer is the big draw around these parts. As far as fowl, I'd have to say Turkey would be out front.

Mostly folks talk about it as the season permits... Bow, Primitive weapons, Firearms/Rifle.

You actually have to put your dog on the list? Sheesh! Mine's in the cab before the 1st bag goes in. Sometimes he looks like he wants to drive too. Haha

Canandaigua, N.Y. - An Ontario County grand jury has determined NASCAR driver Tony Stewart will not face criminal charges in the death of Kevin Ward, Jr. The announcement came at a news conference Wednesday afternoon with the Ontario County District Attorney, Michael Tantillo. A toxicology report indicated Ward had marijuana in his system at the time of the crash. Tantillo said the amount of marijuana was enough to impair his judgment. Stewart was never tested for drugs or alcohol, according to Tantillo. New York State law states that law enforcement cannot compel a person to be tested unless that person was arrested. Since Stewart was never arrested, he was not tested. According to Tantillo, two dozen witnesses were interviewed in regard to the deadly crash - including witnesses, race car drivers, track employees and volunteers, two accident reconstruction experts, medical personnel and at least one police officer. The grand jury considered charges of criminally negligent homicide and manslaughter. A total of 23 citizens comprised the grand jury. Tantillo said the group was in session for two days and reviewed all of the evidence. When it came down to making a decision, the jury debated for less than an hour before coming to their conclusion, according to Tantillo. The case stems from the death of Ward on a dirt track at Canandaigua Motorsports Park August 9. Ward crashed his car, reportedly because Stewart forced him into the wall. Ward then got out of his car, stormed onto the track and started gesturing angrily toward Stewart's car. Stewart's car came around the track, hit Ward and threw his body several feet into the air before he landed on the ground. Ward was pronounced dead shortly afterward. Stewart did not drive in any races for at least two weeks after the fatal crash. The Ontario County Sheriff's Office completed its investigation earlier this month. Tantillo commented on the reaction of the Ward family, stating that the family was "disappointed" with the decision by the grand jury, but "appreciative" of the work put in by various agencies. Shortly after the decision was announced, Stewart released a statement on his website: “This has been the toughest and most emotional experience of my life, and it will stay with me forever. I’m very grateful for all the support I’ve received and continue to receive. “I respect everything the District Attorney and Sheriff’s Office did to thoroughly investigate this tragic accident. While the process was long and emotionally difficult, it allowed for all the facts of the accident to be identified and known. “While much of the attention has been on me, it’s important to remember a young man lost his life. Kevin Ward Jr.’s family and friends will always be in my thoughts and prayers.”

You don't need to search just an idea that came up and figured you might could ramrod such an idea if interested.  Something to do in a warm location in January or so.  Corona is a hell of a nice B&M.  I think Travellin Dave would be in.

Damn Atl...makin Famous look BAD!

Corona ain't cheap but nice folks and excellent service.
I will probably buy from them, good folk there.
And one hell of nice B&M to smoke and drink at!!!!!!
Brain Fart - we should meet up there in the winter months for a weekend herf - I we put him "In Charge" might could even get Dean to make the trip over it is only about 2 hours for him.
I'll make the drive but I ain't in charge of NOTHIN'.

[/quote] Hey Dave, the funny thing is, their brews go great with cigars, but the owner's wife is militant against smoking, even outside. Sad cause he's a nationally recognized brewer.  However, this event is partially technically not on their property so I might be able to be on the perimeter and sneak one in with my BOTL buddy who will be joining me & who made his first CFest with me this year on Friday (sorry we missed you & the Sat. crew.)
