Who woulda thought that you could get your hands on Victor Sinclairs for an even MORE affordable price. It seems impossible, but these overruns are as low as $1.50 apiece. These blends didn't make the cut to join their friends inside a box, but who cares. Minor size issues or small cosmetic blemishes don't change the fact that these are still premium quality handmades. Coming from the Victor Sinclair factory that gives us popular top-selling blends like Don Rafael, Jose Dominguez, and Bohemian, it should be no question why these should already be in your cart, especially at this value. Sheesh

I'm glad to here it....  I used to enjoy screwing with everyone at work.  One time I told everyone in my office that it was National Ventriloquist Day, and they were not allowed to move their lips when they talked.  I had half the office trying to conduct business like ventriloquist for the first hour of work.  It was pretty funny.  I think it went over well because it was a Friday, and everyone was in a good mood anticipating the weekend. :)

BD, How did you make out with your truck tires?
Hi Fred...  I decided to go with the BFGoodrich, but locally Sears, National Battery and Tire, and Dobbs Tires didn't have them in stock.  I did locate them on line, but I had one tire with a nail in it, and I had to keep filling it with air each day.  I finally decided to go to Firestone since I had a Firestone charge card, and could get it finally taken care of.  I also had a problem with the front in which I thought was rather strange.  If I let go of the steering wheel on a flat straight away, the truck would pull to the right.  Then when I did it again, it pulled to the left.  It turned out to be a worn bushing with allot of play in it.  Ended up with Firestone Primewell 225/70 R14 was around $380, plus $80 for an alignment and $136 to replace the bushing. The tires seem fine at the moment, but it's hard to tell with only 10 miles on them... :)  The replaced bushing now makes the steering feel like the original tight rack and pinion steering.  At least now I wouldn't be afraid to take it on a road trip..

The truck actually feels like it's sitting up higher with the new tires.  I'm not sure if it's just my imagination or if the old tires were missing that much tread...?

Every day that I babysit him I say, "Oh, is it your birthday today...?"  Then I chase him all around the house, catch him and give my a (play) birthday spanking.  He really gets pissed at me for doing it, and keeps yelling, "it's NOT MY BIRTHDAY...!!!!"  I'm thinking about buying some cheap toys and wrapping them up, and when he says, "it's not my birthday," I'm going to say, "well, what am I going to do with these presents..?"

My mother used to damn sure make me go get a switch off the mimosa tree and if it was not suitable when I selected it had to go get another one.  Then grab me by the left wrist proceeding to whoop my usually bare legs as we wore shorts almost all the time and dancing with the stars ain't got shit on me and my mother.  That said I probably only averaged one ass whooping for every three i deserved.

Scary thing is we are just 2 generations removed from that being acceptable behavior to people being put in jail for it.  shows no matter where you are, things can change from bad to worse pretty quickly, and it's not hard to get the masses to accept it.

these road trips are about to come to an end. we looked at air conditioners but now Redneck Rick is going to call in an order, have them deliver it, and make monthly payments. Rich Guy Danny and Redneck Rick wanted to find a place to eat. I pulled into a roadside BBQ place and it apparently didn't suit them. I ate alone. then it was a trip to the liquor store, a trip to a thrift store and head back to the park. then they started grumbling about how 'short' the road trip was.

Are you the new Chauffeur....?
RR has no vehicles and RGD has the $300,000 motor home. can't expect him to cart us around in that! ha.
One would think if Danny was so rich, he could afford to buy himself a used shitbox to drive around in.  Something here doesn't smell right, Deano.
Hope that $300,000 motorhome slides right in and doesn't cause too much harm when it fucks him :)

these road trips are about to come to an end. we looked at air conditioners but now Redneck Rick is going to call in an order, have them deliver it, and make monthly payments.

The Monster has sure enough thrown a  ringer of an offering out there for you high rollers!  They must be trying to lure the CI group over.
I saw that too.  I'd consider the deal if each cigar came with an orgasm.
But what would you do if a dozen Krispy Kremes came with them?
Krispy Krebs?
Yea, new STD
I see I didn't miss much of the high brow banter, while I did real work.....
Saw Antnee on the train this morning, reminded me of this place.

If you were spending $80 which would you buy, a box of FdLA robustos or CyB corona reals?
Enjoyed the CyB and think they're worth it.  Haven't had the FdLa but there is no bad Pepin.  Think I'd choose the latter but there is no bad choice.

I'd spend a few dollars more and get the Lonsdales, which were what?  $85?  I had one batch of coronas that were very tightly rolled and the rest fine, but all of the lonsdales I've had were fine.  The FdlA is nice but its no CyB.
Afternoon Will. The lonsdales are $88.72, is the draw the only reason? I've had no issues with the corona real but the price is close enough

More or less, draw.  Flavors are very comparable between the two.  Slightly larger cigars costing slightly more that I have had slightly better luck with?  Seems reasonable.

Will do bud!  He is back working where I work, so I see him daily-I will pass on the greeting.  He has been doing ok lately, his dad suffered multiple strokes 2 weeks ago so he has been taking care of him and making sure he is alright during the days-working remotely when possible.

Glad to hear he's nearby.  Very sorry to hear about his Dad, taking care of an elderly disabled parent is a full-time job and then some.  Please give him my best ... hope he gets some time each evening to take a break to clear out his head and relax some ... watch a ball game, have a cigar and a brewskie.  Ask if he needs any cigars.

He has been taking it pretty well, but hopefully the burden of care wont fall on him too much longer and he can get some relief with other family members, nurses, etc.  I know me and a couple guys bombed him a month or so ago...I will double check.

ERP!  We use that.  program seems good, company that administers it (out of NYC) leaves something to be desired.

Our Lake Travis is down 57 feet and supplies water to about 1.2 million people so we are in major need of rain.  We got 4.25 inches last night and 2.5 so far today.  Need a lot more but this sure helps.
