Morning Blue, I watched about 10 minutes of it in about 2 minute increments, basically I checked the score occasionally.

I did watch Gladys Knight blow the roof off, pretty amazing at any age but beyond amazing at 74 years old.

The classic family film Mary Poppins has been branded racist by a US academic who accuses Julie Andrews of 'blacking up' with soot while dancing with chimney sweeps.

The 11th was a crazy hole. He chipped his 3rd over the green into the water. Took the penalty and dropped the ball. Then, while he was surveying the green, the ball he just dropped rolled into the water. So he got another penalty stroke. Really was a strange sequence. Glad he ended up pulling it off, though.

I can’t stand Ricky Fowler but I must say that ordeal on the 11th was all fuct up, hell the official had no idea what the rule was.  They had to change the ruling after he hit his shot.

Today is Monday, Feb. 4, the 35th day of 2019. There are 330 days left in the year.
Today's Highlight in History:
On Feb. 4, 1974, newspaper heiress Patricia Hearst, 19, was kidnapped in Berkeley, California, by the radical Symbionese Liberation Army.
On this date:
In 1783, Britain's King George III proclaimed a formal cessation of hostilities in the American Revolutionary War.
In 1789, electors chose George Washington to be the first president of the United States.
In 1861, delegates from six southern states that had recently seceded from the Union met in Montgomery, Alabama, to form the Confederate States of America.
In 1913, Rosa Parks, a black woman whose 1955 refusal to give up her seat on a Montgomery, Ala., city bus to a white man sparked a civil rights revolution, was born Rosa Louise McCauley in Tuskegee.
In 1938, the Thornton Wilder play "Our Town" opened on Broadway. Walt Disney's animated feature "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" opened in general U.S. release.
In 1944, the Bronze Star Medal, honoring "heroic or meritorious achievement or service," was authorized by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
In 1962, a rare conjunction of the sun, the moon, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn occurred.
In 1983, pop singer-musician Karen Carpenter died in Downey, California, at age 32.
In 1987, pianist Liberace died at his Palm Springs, California, home at age 67.
In 1997, a civil jury in Santa Monica, California, found O.J. Simpson liable for the deaths of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman.
In 1999, Amadou Diallo, an unarmed West African immigrant, was shot and killed in front of his Bronx home by four plainclothes New York City police officers. (The officers were acquitted at trial.)
In 2004, the Massachusetts high court declared that gay couples were entitled to nothing less than marriage, and that Vermont-style civil unions would not suffice. The social networking website Facebook had its beginnings as Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg launched "Thefacebook."

Ten years ago: President Barack Obama imposed a $500,000 cap on executive pay for companies receiving federal bailout money; the president also signed a bill extending health coverage to 4 million uninsured children. Lux Interior, co-founder and lead singer of the horror-punk band The Cramps, died in Glendale, Calif., at age 62.

Five years ago: The Congressional Budget Office said several million American workers would reduce their hours on the job or leave the workforce entirely because of incentives built into President Barack Obama's health care overhaul.

One year ago: The Philadelphia Eagles, led by backup quarterback Nick Foles, became NFL champs for the first time since 1960, beating Tom Brady and the New England Patriots 41-33 in the Super Bowl. An Amtrak passenger train slammed into a parked freight train in the early-morning darkness in South Carolina after a thrown switch sent it hurtling down a side track; the conductor and engineer were killed and more than 100 passengers were injured. Indianapolis Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson and his Uber driver were struck and killed as they stood on the shoulder of an Indianapolis highway. (The driver of the truck that hit them, a man from Guatemala living illegally in the United States, would be sentenced to 16 years in prison for the drunken-driving crash.) Actor John Mahoney, who played the dad of two psychiatrists on the TV show "Frasier," died in Chicago at the age of 77.

It was for Devour, which is a frozen meal brand. Found it here, along with the rest of the commercials. It's about halfway down the page, and it's a longer version of the one that was on yesterday:

Had a butt load of small errands to take care of and I think we were pretty successful.  Had to get a cashiers check for my CHL license application, dumbass state of SC will only take cashiers check or money order for the $50 fee.  F’n Utah will take every major credit card, money orders, cashiers checks or a personal check from out of state, their fee is $67.50.  Then I had to go to the post office, sheesh I used 10 stamps today.

Also warden and I went to the card store and got the old fellow In Oklahoma 5 different occasions cards then mailed him a thank you card today for his WW II Service.  Warden wrote him a nice note about her dad’s service.  Seems such a small thing to us but doing this we both agreed it actually brightened up our day and made us feel good if it just gives him one second of happiness .  Figured we would send him a card every 2 or 3 days.

Guess everyone is super busy watching commercials.
I was getting my ass handed to me in a meeting. Douchebag was show-boating and completely had it wrong. Once he let me get a word in edgewise, I think he realized what a dick he was being. Now, I've worked up an appetite.

It takes them 60-90 days to get your license to you so if the check is no good you would not get a license, pretty fail safe system.  Add to that I had to pay some boat fees and the State gladly took a check.

You can also write a personal check to the DMV for a hell of a lot more than $50

A 72-year-old Villager was arrested late Sunday night after a brawl with her husband after a Super Bowl party.

Sumter County sheriff’s deputies were called at 11:03 p.m. to a home in the Village of Penecamp where a 70-year-old man complained that he had been slapped by Susan Bays Johnson.

“Yeah, I hit him and I hope he burns in hell,” Johnson told deputies.

She appeared to be “heavily intoxicated” and said she had consumed three glasses of wine and two cosmos while at a Super Bowl party. Johnson had her husband had been “arguing continuously throughout the night.”

The couple had come home from the party and “were verbally arguing about how the neighbors need to know God,” the arrest report said.

Johnson grabbed a picture from the wall and “slammed it onto a glass coffee table resulting in both items shattering,” the deputy wrote in the arrest report. That’s when the Kentucky native allegedly slapped the man.

She was arrested on a charge of battery on a person over the age of 65 and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was set at $2,000.

A 76-year-old man was arrested while driving to the Wildwood Soup Kitchen.

Roger William Merrill was driving a green 2008 Saturn SUV at 10:28 a.m. Saturday when he was spotted by a Wildwood police officer who had worked two recent hit-and-run accidents in which Merrill had been involved.

“The defendant has been told three times now not to drive due to having his license revoked, almost every time he drives he gets into a crash. I feel that if I did not take this course of action the defendant is going to hurt himself or someone else in a crash,” the officer wrote in the arrest report.

The officer has told Merrill, who is homeless, that he could be provided a ride to the soup kitchen so he can eat.

Merrill was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was set at $500.

I'm lighting a Dos Hombres Honduran Cabinet puro. I figured it would be a cheap stick that I didn't need to pay much attention to. Perfect for a day where my brain hurts.

A 73-year-old Villager has lost her driver’s license for a decade after she was arrested last year with wine coolers in her golf cart.

Marcia Nell Vandersnick, who lives in the Villas of Spanish Springs, was found at about 4:30 p.m. Nov. 6 stopped on the side of the golf cart path along Buena Vista Boulevard, just south of St. Charles Place, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The key was in the ignition and there was an open wine cooler between her legs. A second empty wine cooler bottle was on the floor of the golf cart near the gas pedal.

Vandersnick struggled through field sobriety exercises and at one point almost fell backward. She provided breath samples that registered .217 and .210 blood alcohol content.

Last month in Sumter County Court, she pleaded no contest in the case. In addition to the 10-year loss of her driver’s license, she has been placed on probation for two years and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service.

Vandersnick has two prior driving under the influence convictions. Both were in 2014, with one in Sumter County and the other in Lake County. Because this was her third DUI arrest in 10 years, it was elevated to a third-degree felony.

Vandersnick had also been arrested in 2014 after throwing a plate at a deputy.
