Thought for Today: "Trying to determine what is going on in the world by reading newspapers is like trying to tell the time by watching the second hand of a clock." Ben Hecht, American screenwriter (1894-1964).

Happy Friday?
Yes.
but of course you are. good morning Dave.
And things are looking clear, albeit chilly for tee time tomorrow. Might have to dig out the winter hat for the front 9.
Don't mess up your hair!
No promises.

Let's not rush out to the holidays, Dean. There's still Halloween and Thanksgiving.
Besides, aren't the kids getting a bit older?  How much longer?  Maybe you can have a retirement ceremony, burning that evil spirit on a holly and mistletoe bonfire.
If only. My 16 year old still won't admit she knows what's going on.

My kids suspect it isn't real, if only because "Santa" accidentally left an Amazon shipping label in a gift 2 years ago. Lol

I imagine they truly know there's no Santa, but are unwilling to admit it and run the risk of not getting anything Xmas morning.

My 13-year-old was wandering around a Halloween store, looking at costumes with little interest. I said maybe she was getting too old for trick or treating. She said I was crazy and began looking with more intensity.  ;D

Sounded interesting. I didn't watch it but am happy with the final result.

Edit: can't believe we're already at week 5.
