another Monday.
just back from the ER, knee pain, I couldn't walk, took an hour to get something on to wear and dig out my cane. thankfully no damage to my knee, just a severe RA flare.

Definitely sounds like you've got a case of the Mondays. Sorry to hear it.

was not a good morning. been resting, not to see if my meds are covered and pricing.

Any ideas on what causes the flare ups?

I'm not a doctor but have some experience here. DMARDs should be working with your body and if they are not get on your doctor's ass. They are the only thing that will give you long-term relief and limit the permanent damage. Back to regular scheduled banter....

Mine is on wheels. I put in a natural gas hook up off my patio. In 17 years I have been here I'm on my 3rd grill and I grill a lot.

We're still using the one we got when we moved in almost 14 years ago. We grill a lot as well, and believe me, it has shown some serious wear. I've replaced the fire shield on the inside more times than I can remember. Definitely well past time for an upgrade. Lol

I'm almost tempted to do some Google searches because I have no idea what you're saying. But my hypochondria talks me out of it.

since 2003 the only DMARD that I am still on is methotrexate. all others have done significant damage to my body, especially my liver. most biologics were not effective, currently using CIMZIA, about $5,000 a month, not counting various other meds. best stuff is prednisone but after 15 years although effective has done damage to my eyes. teeth, and bones. the side effects are terrible. considering stem cell treatment.
