Ten years ago: Hurricane Dean, which had already killed eight people on its destructive march across the Caribbean, pummeled Jamaica with gusting winds and torrential rains as a Category 4 storm.

Eventually made landfall in Nature Coast Florida and has been wreaking havoc there ever since.

Never even realized I was a Lionel Ritchie fan. He was very entertaining. Mariah Carey opened for him and she just phoned it in. I already knew I wasn't a fan of hers.
